Week In Photos

A cosy knitted oversized cardigan I picked up from the charity shop, flavoured water and an interiors magazine for afternoon reading, NARS & Nail Inc, duping some products, Chloe the bunny was attacked, the day's make-up, Amelia's mini braids, RIP Chloe bunny & ladies and gentlemen, the man I am marrying

First of all, I'm so sorry for neglecting this blog for the past week. There has been a lot going on and every day I tell myself I'd blog that night and every night I ended up falling asleep by 9pm and getting nothing done. I have some new posts planned for today and tomorrow (and beyond) so I am back to blogging daily now.

- Chloe the bunny died two days ago. After being attacked last week by, what the vet can guess, was a fox, she was in shock but pulled through. I was feeding her through a syringe, cuddling her to keep her warm, feeding her as much as I could but it wasn't to be. Slow onset paralysis came on and she needed to be euthanised. Words can't express how much it devastated me and my oldest daughter but it was more cruel letting her live when she couldn't move her head or front paws. Sean made a little cross out of sticks with her name on and we had a little ceremony outside with candles to mark her death. I'm still not over it. I loved her so much. She would watch television with us and try to escape up the stairs into my bedroom when nobody was looking. She did eat through her fair share of cables (laptop charger, mobile charger, straighteners...) but she was ours and she was beautiful.

    1. She was so lovely. It's a shame she had to go out that way as she was only two years old :( xx

  2. Aw, your poor bunny :( I'm sorry to hear about it.

On a more positive note, the elephant costume is great.

    1. I wish I was lying but he took our daughter to school in it today and all the way there she was just calling him "My elephant". He then (childfree) went to the bank, GP and the shop in it!! People didn't blink as it's Children In Need! It's safe to say he loves being an elephant!
