& in with the new

Saturday, 12 January 2013

I haven't posted in a little while and I thought I'd just check in to say regular posting will resume as of today and show you some of the things I've been buying in the sale. While the sales haven't been excellent this year I've still picked up a lot and most of it hasn't been photographed. These are a few of my favourite things I've acquired in the month of January.

I picked up this studded envelope clutch in Pilot for £9 along with the necklace for a mere £2. The shoes are George by Asda and were £5 which I feel quite lucky to have bought since I'm a size 9 and trying to find comfortable shoes in a size 9 lately has been difficult. Primark were selling off their knits for £5 a few weeks ago so I picked up this off-white cable knit with shimmery thread running through which I usually wear with skinny jeans and boots. The jeans are from Asda for £7 and they're reversible (surprisingly comfortable, too). The one side is the floral pattern you can see here and the other is just a dark wash so £7 for essentially two pairs of jeans is beyond a bargain. The black 'thing' is just a tube skirt when tunic tops just aren't long enough with leggings or dresses kick out a little too high for tights. The chelsea boots are from Shoe Zone and I can't remember the price (£15?), the earrings were £2.50 from Internacionale, the fuchsia bag from Primark for £6 and the cross snood £4 from Primark, in case you were wondering.

All in all I didn't do too badly and love most of what I've bought. I'm still waiting on a few beauty deliveries too which I'm very excited for, not least because I ended up buying a duplicate for my best friend of a product that we coveted before Christmas.
